    1962 27 Shepard Cruiser Cruiser "Summertime II"
    1962 Sheppard original boat & motor extensively restored as of 2002. All cover boards & front deck has been replaced ( solid mahogany) as originally done. Shearline all around deck & coverboards replaced with white oak framing as original. Five blanks on outer bottom replaced as needed clinched to inner planks with copper nails & stainless screws. All bottom screws removed holes filled with sica & retightened. White oak stem piece replaced along with five side planks. Transom cover boards totally replaced in 2006. Cabin was removed during restoration & all widow framing repaired where need than re assembled using sica caulking in all joints as a sealant. All windows replaced with safety glass. Maintanance coat on sides & deck applied every year since restoration. Motor is original 327 Marine Grey totally rebuilt in 2005 (less than 300 hrs on it. Transmission has had seals replaced in 2006.
